Why we created it

Fragrance is rarely just a scent. Behind every note in our British countryside inspired candles is a plant with a story - a hedgerow herb with centuries of history, a garden flower steeped in British folklore, a wild fruit marking the turning of the season. We wanted to honour that. Not with an ingredients list, but with something worth reading.

Britain's hedgerows, walled gardens, and cottage gardens are living libraries of botanical heritage. The plants that inspire our hand-poured candles have shaped British landscapes, kitchens, and traditions for centuries. The Field Guide is our way of bringing those stories home.
